Presenting before an audience can be both an exhilarating and humbling experience. It is always an honor to formally present before your professional peers and one should never take lightly the responsibility of making your message worth their while. The extraordinary amount of work that goes into producing and gathering data make it a profound shame when it becomes compromised by inept presentation or inconsiderate members of the audience. Effective communication requires planning, practice and some measure of theatrical skills to ensure that your message remains long after your presentation. Studies have shown that up to 90% of your message transmittal depends upon how you look and sound when you speak. Thus, you cannot count on the manifest worth of your data or message alone to make the imprint on the audience that you desire.
Provide the attendee with various strategies to improve speaking skills.
